Awareness on Industrial Calamities Must be the First Lesson in Achieving Safety: Dr. Avaneesh Singh

Dr. Avaneesh Singh, Director General, Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes, Govt. of India, stressed the need of making people aware about the possible industrial calamities as the first lesson towards achieving complete safety. He was inaugmail 3urating the International Seminar on Safety and Engineering (SAFE’17) organized by Safety and Fire Engineering division of School of Engineering, Cusat.
While delivering the key note address, world renowned petroleum safety expert Dr. Faisal I. Khan said that “safety is a life value rather than compliance of a set of written regulations”. Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha presided.
