Inculcation of Scientific Temper Possible Only Through Difffusion of Innovations: Cusat VC

“Inculcation of scientific temper can only be possible through the diffusion of innovations from lab to land” said Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha. The gap between science and technology should be reinforced for its materialization. According to her, the research should became meaningful only when the research findings will be converted into products of technology for the social reformation. She was inaugurating the regional workshop on ‘Science mail 01Popularization Project’ organised by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment and Directorate of Public Relations and Publications, at Marine Engineering auditorium, Cusat.
Prof. S. Sivadas, Chairman, Science Popularization Committee, KSCSTE delivered key note. Dr. V. Ajith Prabhu, Senior Principal Scientist, Dr. S. Anilkumar, Director, Directorate of Public Relations and Publications and programme co- ordinator, K. G. Binimole, deputy co-ordinator, Prof. N. G. Nair, School of Marine Engineering spoke.
The workshop provides training for the preparation and the execution of popular science projects of KSCSTE to representatives of NGO’s and Govt. organisations, researchers and teachers. Prof. C. P. Aravindakshan, Prof. P. K.
