Bank of Baroda Commits Rs. 4 crore towards Rehabilitation

Bank of Baroda, one of the country’s trusted public sector banks, has committed Rs. 4 crore towards rehabilitation work in Kerala, after torrential rains and floods disrupted normalcy in the state, over the past monsoon season.

Even as the state continues to recover, Rajesh Malhotra, Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda handed over a cheque of Rs. 4 crore to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan towards the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund, Kerala. Speaking on the initiative by the Bank, Malhotra, said, “We feel privileged to support the people of Kerala in these extremely difficult circumstances. We have over 100 branches in the state and as a people friendly Bank, we have always believed in
being an integral part of the communities we serve in. We convey our best wishes to the people of Kerala during this difficult time as we pray that the state and its citizens.”
