Battle for Glory Comes to BIC with IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup

After an extraordinary performance in the first 3 rounds down south, the best of India’s next breed of riders are all set to showcase their talent in fourth round of ‘IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup’ this weekend at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida.

The round 4 of IDEMITSU Honda Talent Cup will be the first time that the young riders will test their racing progress on the tricky BIC track. Testing their mettle will be 16 riders in the CBR 250R Expert class. Firmly in the limelight will be the 17 young talent aged between 14 to 21 years who will take racing to next level in the CBR 150R. Riders to watch out for will be Anish Shetty, Senthil Kumar and Abhishek V in CBR 250R Expert class and Mohamed Mukail, Anandhu KK, Kritik Habib, Geoffrey and Akshay Murali who are leading the championship so far.

Speaking on the upcoming round, Prabhu Nagaraj, Vice President – Brand & Communications, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. Said, “After the thrill and excitement from 3 rounds, 33 riders are all set to compete in the round 4 for IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup. Taking the racing to next level are Honda’s international level riders Anish Shetty and Senthil Kumar who will be competing in CBR 250 Expert class. The 9 new young riders selected from Honda Talent Hunt too will display their talent as Honda aims to create an Iconic Young Indian Rider for National & International Championships. Overall we expect stupendous performance from these young champs this weekend.”

CBR 250R Expert Class
Performing strongly in both national and international championships, the Thai Talent Cup rider Senthil Kumar is also leading the charge in CBR 250 Expert class with the total tally of 99 points. Bengaluru boy Abhishek V is holding 2 nd position so far and is followed by the International rider Anish Shetty with 86 points.

CBR 150R Novice Class
Further intensifying the race, a total 17 riders will be competing for CBR 150R Novice class. Nearly one of every 2nd
rider is handpicked from the 3 rounds of IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Hunt conducted so far. This includes the 14-year-old Mohamed Mukail from Chennai who is leading the category with 5 victories so far. Next on the lead is Anandhu KK with 78 points who is followed by Kritik Habib. The young lads are all set to showcase their mettle at the race track.
