Biotechnology revolution is gaining momentum all around the world, and the impact is going to be faster and useful to the mankind, said Dr. Rose Varghese Vice-Chancellor of National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kerala.
She was presiding over the two day – National Seminar conducted by School of Legal Studies in the areas of Biotechnology and Law. While inaugurating the Workshop, Dr. P.G. Sankaran Pro-Vice- Chancellor of CUSAT emphasized the need to develop sophisticated research in the field of Biotechnology which should have an output to impact many facets of human life. Dr.V. Sankar, Indian Patent Agent and Vice- President MaxVal IP Services (P) Ltd) Coimbatore, spoke. The Seminar contains Technical Sessions on Scope and Role of Biotechnology in the Contemporary World, Human Rights Concerns and Biotech Inventions, Patenting Biotech
