IIITM-K, Maker Village to Hold Entrepreneurship Conclave on Jan. 22

Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K) has planned a one-day Internet of Things (IoT) conference at Technopark here on Monday, January 22 jointly with Kochi-based Electronics incubator Maker Village, where top technocrats and industry experts will share their experience on various verticals.
The participants at the event will include Anoop Balachandran, Region Manager, Connected Industry (North America) Bosch Group; Pramod Potti Krishnan, Associate Director, Ernst & Young; Manoj Kumar. R, Senior Specialist, Tata Elxsi Limited; and Jithin Krishnan, Scientiest – Medical Instrumentation, SCTIMST.
They will share their expertise on various verticals such as Industrial IoT, Healthcare, Mobility and Security. A panel discussion, moderated by Prof. Rajeev Srinivasan, Adj Faculty – IIMB, on the emerging trends of IoT will also be held. An interactive session for the startups of Maker Village to present their product ideas will be part of the programme.
An IoT Expo at the event will provide an opportunity for the startups of Maker Village to make product demos, presentations and showcase their innovations to the technocrats and business experts and receive valuable feedback. This conference is meant for researchers, budding entrepreneurs, Post Graduate students, faculty, software professionals, business executives and IoT enthusiasts.
