The joy of Music blossomed in the garden of Pontifical Institute Alwaye (PIA) where its new venture in music named, ‘Jesus Band’ had taken off to the public domain on the eve of its Institute Day celebrations.
The celebrations were held at St. Joseph’s Pontifical Seminary, Carmelgiri. Apostolic Nuncio to Papura New Guinea Arch Bishop Dr. Kurian Mathew Vayalunkal inaugurated the public meeting. Film Director Roshan Andrews was the Chief Guest of the celebrations.
He inaugurated the ‘Jesus Band’ which is an initiative of the students of PIA. It is an effort of PIA to carry the Gospel values to the larger public through the melody of music. The first performance of ‘Jesus Band’ with other cultural programmes organized by the students of the Iinstitute added colour to the celebrations.
