Dubai: Chikku Robert (28), a Malayali nurse Badr al Samaa Hospital, was found dead with deep wounds at her flat in Salalah in Dubai. She was pregnant. Chikku is a native of Karukutty in Angamaly.
It is suspected that she was stabbed to death when she resisted a robbery attempt.
Her husband Linson also works at the same hospital. As she did not turn up for the 11 pm shift, Linson went home to check and found her lying in a pool of blood.
