India’s First ever 100% Electric Smart Cab Fleet BLU-SMART Launched in NCR

NEW DELHI/AHAMEDABAD:
Gensol Mobility, part of smart technology driven Gensol group, today launched India’s first ever 100 percent smart electric fleet BLU-SMART in New Delhi and the national capital region, to usher in an era of smart urban electric mobility for consumers and also improve the quality of life in the country’s pollution rid towns and cities.

The company has invested over Rs 50 crore as capital expenditure and is setting up a massive charging infrastructure of 65 stations, with each having upto 20 charging points, across the NCR, thus ensuring assured charge to the vehicle having access to a charging point in 5 km radius. In today’s shared world, BLU-SMART is also a shared travel solution and will be absolutely surge-price free!
In the first phase, 70 BLU-SMART cabs will be available in Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Aerocity as of now and will be ramped up to 400 cars by end of March 2019, offering last mile transportation for intra and inter-city trips.

Gensol Mobility has partnered Mahinodra & Mahindra, India’s leading automotive player, to ply its high end sedan e-Verito across specific routes in the national capital region such as Greater Noida, Gurugram, Manesar, Sonepat amongst others. The ride to the destination is set to offer a seamless experience as smart transportation to the consumer and is cashless.

Gensol Mobility is founded by four partners including Anmol Singh Jaggi, who founded the Gensol group in 2007, Dr Uma Kant, a former IAS officer and was the Principal Secretary, Power, in the Uttarakhand government, Kiran Patil, former country head & managing director, India, with a German Renewabale Energy Fund with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, and Punit Goyal, India’s top renewable technology professional.
