Parivartan Special School (PORDAC) Conducted Sports Meet for Differently Abled

NEW DELHI:
Parivartan Special School (PORDAC) running in 69, Bhanwani Kunj opposite D2 Vasant Kunj Delhi conducted Sports Meet for differently abled individuals at Matri Mandir ground safdarjung enclave. About 250 participants took part in games like 25 metre running, 25 metre walk, Short put, Tennis ball throw, Soft ball throw.

The participants age group was 5 years to 35 years from different Special and integrated schools.The event was organised successfully by Manjir Gupta, director Pordac, Sonali Saxena Deputy Director PORDAC and Paralympic Coach Sandeep Gulliya. The chief guests Lalit Watts GM HR Head, Pankaj Agarwal President RWA and Guest of honours Chetan Kumar Joint Secretary and Dr. Piyush Kumar Jain SecretaryPhysical Education Foundation of India and Parimal Bhattacharya president Matri Mandir gave away medals and certificates to winning teams.

The event was inaugurated by torch ceremony followed by march past and oath ceremony done by participants. Paraolmpic coach Surendra was also present to oversee the event and encourage the participants. PORDAC has been striving hard to do the best for differently abled to boost confidence among the community of their parents and professionals and provide independent living for them.
