Union Bank of India Ernakulum Region secured the Rajbhasha Shield Award of Central Home Ministry for the effective implementation of Official Language.
The Bank has been selected as best in the banking sector of the South West Region. Ernakulum Region DGM P.S. Rajan received the Award for Union Bank from Kiren Rijiju, Union Minster of State for Home Affairs, at the regional official language conference organized at Vishakhapattanam. It is the sincere efforts made by union bank employees in the Ernakulum region that made the bank eligible for this award, said P.S. Rajan.
