MUMBAI:
The year has started on a promising note for DJ Khushi and music director, Shashi Suman who are all set to launch a foot tapping number ‘High Court’. VYRL Originals come back again with yet another power- packed Punjabi track which is sure to make you groove.

DJ Khushi identified his passion for music during the rough phase of life when his dream to study Business Management from the USA could not go through due to political tension which arose post the 9/11 attacks. Heartbroken, he found solace in music and soon earned fame as ‘the one who creates magic behind the console’.

In contrast, Shashi since an early age has been inclined to music and built his skill bit by bit. He has been a part of some memorable tracks in Bollywood films like Mary Kom and Bajirao Mastani.

These two diverse artists hit it off immediately when they met through common friends and now Shashi Khushi are a complete power packed music unit! The duo are all set to debut in ‘High Court’, a pulsating Punjabi number complemented with an energetic video. The catchy video narrates a story about two boys getting bowled over by a beautiful athlete girl who beats them in every sport be it football, running and boxing.

Speaking about their experience Shashi and Khushi share “We have been anxious about the release of our first track and are now waiting to see the response. We come from different genres and so our versatility makes our track unique. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while recording and putting together this song. We are now thrilled to share it with one and all.”

On releasing the Punjabi track Senior Vice President, Universal Music Group India & South Asia, Vinit Thakkar comments, “At VYRL Originals, we are constantly trying to promote new talent and at the same time put together an interesting mix of tracks from different genres for audiences. High Court is a perky Punjabi track which will instantly hit the right chord with the audience.”
