164th SLBC Meeting at Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru

BANGALORE: 164th SLBC meeting was held on Tuesday, 27th February 2024 at meeting hall Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru. The meeting was co-chaired by Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, GoK, P N Raghunath, Chief General Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Sunanda Batra, General Manager, FIDD, Reserve Bank of India, T Ramesh, Chief General Manager – NABARD, M Bhaskara Chakravarthy , SLBC Convenor & GM, Canara Bank and State Controlling heads of all Banks and other dignitaries attended the meeting.

The Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, GoK has advised all the line departments and Bankers to cover all eligible populations under PMJJBY & PMSBY schemes. Also appreciated all Bankers for achieving CD ratio of 79.72% during Quarter-3.

Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, GoK informed that the achievement as on 31.12.2023 under ACP is very successful and it is 75.69 % under Agriculture of the annual target, under Total credit it is 84.47% and total priority sector it is 72.95%. She complemented all the bankers for a good performance. But at the same time, under Priority Education [22.06%] and Priority Housing [18.56%] performance is not as expected. She urged the bankers to achieve the set targets under all parameters.
