69 Carriage long LEGO® Toy Train Built to Achieve the World Record

Iconic toy brand The LEGO® Group and Nexus Malls, the fastest growing retail real estate company, today etched their name in history with The Guinness World Record® for Most Carriages in a Toy Train category. The feat was achieved by The LEGO Group (Singapore), K K Cariapa, John Seemon, Nexus Malls (all Indians) at Seawoods Grand Central Mall, India on 4 January 2019.’

This extraordinary accomplishment was achieved by building 69 carriage LEGO® toy train tugged by a single locomotive chugged across 35 feet at Navi Mumbai’s ultimate fashion destination Seawoods Grand Central Mall.

On achieving the feat John Seemon, an ardent Adult Fan of LEGO® said “When K.K Cariapa, Founder of The Beanpod presented his plan to me, I thought the scale was ambitious. I am glad we were able to achieve this together with Nexus malls and The LEGO Group.”

Guinness World Records® officials, who were present at the mall, confirmed the achievement and also awarded the Guinness World Records® certificate for ‘Most Carriages in a Toy Train’ category to K K Cariapa, John Seemon &  Nishank Joshi. The feat will also be posted on the official website of the Guinness World Records® in due course.

Earlier in December, Nexus Malls and The LEGO® Group had announced, India’s grandest ‘LEGO® Christmas Carnival’ at Seawoods Grand Central Mall. The magnificent month-long extravaganza witnessed an array of unique building and engagement activities involving parents and children across age groups. As a part of the engagement initiative, a 25 ft tall Lego Christmas tree was built with participation from over 4,000 guests. The event witnessed a footfall of over 800,000 through the month.
The longest LEGO® train will be on display at Seawoods Grand Central Mall till 6th January 2019.
