

MUMBAI:
ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), a globally recognised professional accountancy body, and one of India’s leading management schools, the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIM Visakhapatnam), today announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance educational opportunities in the field of accounting and finance. The signing was officiated by Prabhanshu Mittal, ACCA’s Head of Educational Partner Relationships – India and Prof. Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty, Dean of Academics at IIM Visakhapatnam and exchanged in the esteemed presence of Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam.
Through this MoU, ACCA and IIM Visakhapatnam will establish a collaborative framework that goes beyond traditional academic engagement. The partnership will focus on academic collaborations, hosting high-impact workshops and seminars, and advancing faculty excellence through initiatives such as faculty development programs. Together, both institutions will nurture a culture of innovation and research in accounting and finance, driving new insights and shaping the future direction of the profession.
This partnership reaffirms the shared vision of ACCA and IIM Visakhapatnam to drive innovation and excellence in finance and accountancy education, empowering future professionals to thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
On occasion of the MoU signing Sajid Khan, Director- India at ACCA, said, ‘Our collaboration with IIM Visakhapatnam marks a significant milestone in advancing our shared commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and global professional development.
