Ambuja Manovikas Kendra Achieves Fifth Consecutive Victory

Ambuja Cements, the cement and building material company of diversified Adani Group, proudly announces that its associated institution, Ambuja Manovikas Kendra (AMK), a leading institution for intellectually-challenged individuals based in Ropar, Punjab, has won championship for the fifth consecutive time at the Punjab State Level Cultural Competition – Umang 2023.

The event, organized by the Special Olympics Bharat, Punjab in collaboration with Ashadeep Welfare Society, showcased the exceptional talents of intellectually disabled students and special teachers.

The 5th edition of Umang 2023 of the esteemed Punjab State Level Cultural Competition, attracted approximately 300 students from 22 special schools across Punjab. Demonstrating exceptional abilities and determination, 19 members were delegated from AMK, comprising 13 students and 6 teachers, who showcased their remarkable skills in various cultural activities, surpassing expectations and securing the prestigious Overall Championship Trophy.

A stellar performance led the AMK team to achieve first place in most categories, earning the highest scores and cementing their well-deserved victory. Their outstanding achievements not only highlighted their individual talents, but also underscored the unwavering commitment and guidance provided by their dedicated teachers, who played an instrumental role in their success.

Catering to over 134 intellectually challenged children, AMK is known to provide a nurturing environment tailored to their specific developmental needs. Through a combination of tailored education, therapy, and unwavering dedication, the AMK team consistently demonstrates excellence and perseverance.
