Rashtriya Janata Dal, national secretary, Anu Chacko, submitted a memorandum to Governor of Kerala, P Sathasivam, to intervene in the Sabarimala issue and find a solution.
She appealed to form an expert committee of spiritual and religious leaders including the Royal Family and Thantri family, and seek their opinion on entry of young women in Sabarimala. The opinion of these expert committee can be informed to the Chief Justice of Supreme Court, Prime Minister and Kerala Chief Minister, so that the confusion regarding the issue could be settled at the earliest and find a solution, she added.
