Applications Invited for Veterinary Assistant Surgeons

KOCHI:
The Department of Animal Husbandry, Union Territory of Lakshadweep Administration announce the engagement of FIVE Veterinary Assistant Surgeons (VAS) on a contractual basis for a period of 11 months. The engagement drive is aimed at enhancing the veterinary healthcare services in the region.

The selected candidates, not exceed 65 years of age as of 21st October 2023 will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 50,000/- per month, with no additional allowances. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc.) from a University/Institute recognized by the Government of India. Additionally, candidates should be registered with the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council or Union Territory Veterinary Council. A valid Registration Certificate must be submitted along with the application.

Candidates can participate in a virtual interview at the Offices of Deputy Collector/Block Development Officer in their respective Islands or attend physically at the NIC Hall, Secretariat, Kavaratti Island, Lakshadweep – 682555, on 21st October 2023, at 11 AM (IST). Time slots will be allocated by the Department, and intimation regarding the interview and location will be sent to shortlisted candidates via their personal email.
