Aster Medcity Launches Stroke Ambulance

KOCHI:
Aster Medcity, Kochi launched a Stroke Ambulance as part of World Stroke Day. Kerala High Court Justice Gopinath P flagged off the ambulance that functions under the Artificial Intelligence Enabled Comprehensive Stroke Unit at the hospital.

Stroke is a medical condition that increases the threat to the life of a patient with each passing moment. From diagnosis to arriving at a hospital where stroke treatment is available is critical for any patient who is suffering from the condition. If necessary, treatment is available at the right time, further consequences can be avoided.

This specially equipped stroke ambulance can provide all the necessary care to a patient within the time it takes to reach Aster Medcity from the nearest hospital.

The ambulance accommodates medical equipment and medicines for emergency treatment and staff including doctors and nurses specialized in stroke treatment. ‘This service availability will lead to major changes in the emergency services sector of Kerala, and Aster Medcity has led the way in exemplary intervention’ said Gopinath P, Kerala High Court Justice inaugurating the event.
