KOCHI:
BASF Agricultural Solutions today announced the launch of Melyra® Fungicide and Inveris® Gold Insecticide, two new crop protection solutions designed to help Indian farmers manage diseases and pests more effectively while improving crop productivity.
Melyra is a next-generation, broad-spectrum fungicide powered by Revysol® Active, BASF’s novel isopropanol‑azole molecule, which supports effective disease control and resistance management. Co-formulated with pyraclostrobin, it delivers AgCelence® benefits that enhances plant vitality and crop performance. Melyra is suitable for crops including cotton, groundnut, soybean, chilli, and tomato.
Inveris Gold is formulated with dual actives to provide broad-spectrum control of piercing and sucking pests, including aphids, jassids, whiteflies, thrips, mites, and leaf miners. It is suitable for vegetable crops such as chilli, tomato, brinjal, cucumber, and okra. The formulation is designed to support integrated pest management programs, including considerations for beneficial insects.
“With BASF Melyra and Inveris Gold, we are expanding our crop protection portfolio in India with solutions tailored to local agronomic needs,” said Giridhar Ranuva, Director, BASF Agricultural Solutions India. “These innovations reflect our ongoing investment in research and development to help farmers manage resistance, address pest and disease pressure, and improve productivity in a more sustainable way.”
