KOCHI:
Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor will host the non-stage competitions of the CBSE Kochi Sahodaya District Kalotsav on the 7th of this month (7th of October) from 8.30 AM. 1900 students will be participating in the Kalotsav which will have around 75 events. Global Public School Principal Saritha Jayaraj informed that the preparations for the first phase of the Kalotsav which is poised to happen across 35 venues have been completed.
Elocution and poetry recitation competitions will be held in Malayalam, English, Hindi, Arabic and Sanskrit languages. In the writing category, there will be competition in stories, poems, essays, etc. In the painting category, competitions in watercolor, oil, crayon painting, pencil drawing, collage, cartoon and poster designing will be held.
Competitions in anchoring, powerpoint presentation and digital painting will also be conducted. The stage competitions will be happening at St. Peter’s School, Kolenchery from 12 to 14 of this month. The prize distribution ceremony will also be held here at this venue.
