Celebrities Can Now Connect with their Fans Through ‘Helo Live’

In a significant move to facilitate superior in-app engagement experience, Helo has announced the addition of a new feature, ‘Helo Live’ to its wide portfolio of content generation tools.

Launched in line with the platform’s commitment of enabling deeper engagement between fans and their favourite celebrities and popular creators, this new live video streaming feature serves as a creative medium for them to interact with their multiple Indian language audiences collectively. The one-of-its-kind feature allows celebrities and popular creators to invite fans for a one-on-one chat during the live session, thus connecting with them directly and in a personalised way.

The feature was launched with Shraddha Kapoor as the first celebrity to go live on the platform where she shared insights on ‘How she maintains work-life balance’ and also connected with two of her fans for a one-on-one chat. Her Live video clocked over 20 million views on Helo.

Rakul Preet also took the platform to engage with her fans through the feature and spoke to many of her fans personally during the live session. Tiasa Ray, a popular Bengali language creator with over 350K following on Helo, used the feature to share her story about ‘How she met the love of her life on Helo’, with her followers.

Popular celebrities from the Indian film fraternity including Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Mahesh Babu, Sunny Leone, Shilpa Shetty, Neha Kakkar, Neeru Bajwa and many more have joined the Helo community. The celebrities have been actively creating and posting exclusive content, keeping their fans updated around useful insights, including from their personal life. Through Helo Live, the platform elevated the engagement experience, giving them an exclusive opportunity to personally interact with Helo’s diverse community of 50 million active users across 14 Indian languages.

All users who join the streaming can interact with these stars by asking questions through comments sections available in 14 Indian languages on Helo. They can also share reactions in the form of emoticons and stickers. The celebrities and popular creators can go live by simply tapping the ‘Live Button’ under create a post section. Once they start streaming, their profile icon will have an outline effect and the window will reflect a creator or celebrity tag, indicating live video streaming. The live session will be visible to all Helo users as under the Nearby section, where interested users can join by clicking on the thumbnail.
