Chief Minister to Inaugurate Rajagiri Knowledge Summit

KOCHI:
Rajagiri College of Management and Applied Sciences (RCMAS), Kakkanad, will organise the Rajagiri Knowledge Summit (RKS) 2026 themed “Prosperity through Knowledge” from July 23 to 25. The summit will bring together academicians, policymakers, industry leaders, scientists, media professionals and thought leaders from India and abroad.

Chief Minister V. D. Satheeshan will inaugurate the summit on July 23. Minister for Higher Education Roji M. John will be the Guest of Honour. Fr. Paulose Kidangan, Manager, Rajagiri Educational Institutions, will preside over the inaugural function.

The three-day summit will feature keynote addresses, expert lectures, panel discussions, fireside chats, industry–academia interaction sessions and research paper presentations. Higher education in an AI world, disaster preparedness, transformative art, artificial intelligence, data science, digital business, finance, social sciences and media are among the topics to be discussed.

Nair, Vice Chairperson, Kerala State Higher Education Council; Dr. Saji Gopinath, Vice Chancellor, Digital University Kerala; AI expert Sunil Prabhakar; Prof. Eddabbah Mohammed of Cadi Ayyad University, Morocco; Dr. Hareesh Ramanathan, Director of International Relations, CUSAT; Anand Sharma, former Additional Director General of the India Meteorological Department; Dr. Roxy Mathew Koll, Climate Scientist, Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune; social activist Dayabai; Dr. Rajashree Warrier; Dr. Kavitha Balakrishnan; Dr. Myna Umaiban; Aswathy Sreekanth and Sukanya Shaji are among the speakers.

The summit aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue, collaborative research and stronger partnerships between academia and industry. Teachers, researchers, students, industry experts and members of the intelligentsia will participate.
