Cricket Asia Cup 2023 Schedule

The schedule for the 2023 Cricket Asia Cup tournament to be hosted by Sri Lanka and Pakistan has been unveiled, with matches running from 30th August to 17th September 2023. One of the co-hosts, Pakistan will open the tournament by taking on Nepal in Multan. This tournament will be played in the 50-overs format, featuring six teams placed in two groups.

India, Nepal, and Pakistan are all in Group A, while Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are trailing in Group B. This tournament features a hybrid model, where Pakistan is set to host four matches in two venues, while Sri Lanka will host the others.

The iconic match between Pakistan and India is set for 2nd September in Kandy and you can bet on the game with the Indibet promotion code for new punters. The six group-stage games will be followed by Super 4s, starting from 6th September. The final match will feature the teams that will manage to rank in the top two spots when the Super 4s come to an end on 17th September in Colombo.

Nepal’s memorable debut in the 2023 Asia Cup

Nepal will make its debut in the 2023 Cricket Asia Cup after earning its place in the tournament after its triumph in the ACC Premier Cup. To secure their place in the Asia Cup, Nepal recorded a seven-wicket victory over UAE, propelled by Gulshan Kumar’s composed innings of 67 runs with 84 deliveries. The triumph helped Nepal book a spot in the Asia Cup, making it the first time that the country will participate in this prestigious cricket tournament.

According to India’s Board of Control for Cricket Secretary Jay Sah, India will feature in the same group as Pakistan in the upcoming ODI tournament.
