Cochin University of Science and Technology has been chosen as one among a few Indian Universities and Institutes participating in a research project to unravel the properties of neutrinos.
Department of Physics, CUSAT will undertake the project “Indian Institutions-Fermi lab collaboration in neutrino physics” under the guidance of Dr. Titus K Mathew and Dr. Ramesh Babu Thayyullathil. The total cost of the project for a period of five years is Rs. 1.14 crore. Under this programme, students and faculty members of the Department can visit Fermi lab, USA and participate in NOVA Collaboration experiments in neutrino physics.
