CUSAT Faculty Bags BIRAC Women Entrepreneurship Award

KOCHI:
Dr Anusha Ashokan, DST Inspire Faculty at Department of Biotechnology of Cochin University of Science and Technology, has been awarded the Women Entrepreneurship award instituted by the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) and TiE Delhi.

This is an award given annually to 15 Indian women entrepreneurs working in the area of life sciences. The award is in recognition of her pioneering contributions in the field of therapeutic cancer vaccines. Dr. Anusha Ashokan received the award amount of Rs 5 Lakhs from Dr Renu Swarup, Secretary, DBT in an online function.
