KOCHI:
Cochin University of Science and Technology has decided to convert all existing courses into full-fledged outcome based educational mode. Under this system, the level of the student at the completion of each course and the benefit of completing the course will be included in the syllabus.
The question papers will be arranged with various levels of questions at global standards as per the directions of various international higher education agencies, UGC and Kerala Higher Education Council. In a recent workshop conducted by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of CUSAT, 52 teachers of the university were given the required training. At the Academic Council meeting held on December 21st, IQAC Director Dr. K. Gireesh Kumar presented a resolution on this which was unanimously approved by the council. Vice Chancellor Dr K.N.Madhusoodanan presided over the meeting.
