Government Cyberpark got a state-of-the-art Sahya Acoustic Auditorium today, with CEO Susanth Kurunthil inaugurating the facility conceived to become a hub for creative and cultural activities and interactions for the employees.
Noting that the auditorium will be an asset to the IT ecosystem, Kurunthil highlighted Kozhikode’s advantage as a city with a vibrant IT ecosystem. “Companies here have an opportunity to fully utilize the advantage through meaningful exchange of ideas,” he pointed out. “Cyberpark is ready to provide all support for such activities.”
Cyberpark General Manager Vivek Nair said the auditorium is the first fully acoustic facility in all three IT parks in the state. Housed in the pivotal Sahya building, the auditorium has an area of 3,000 square feet after the work completed in three months. Arteriors Build India was entrusted with its construction.
With a seating capacity of 120 people, along with a lobby and recording room, the auditorium can host seminars, training programs and workshops, besides art and cultural events.
Others who spoke at today’s ceremony included UL Cyberpark COO Kishor Kumar TK, Calicut Forum for IT President Abdul Gafoor KV and its former president PT Haris.
The inaugural event featured a musical performance by the Adventure Max Sound Band.
