The industry’s newest way to equip students with domain skills and expertise with ” Experiential Learning”

KOCHI:
Centre for Experiential Learning and Skill Enhancement (CELSE) has designed a unique job-based training for students which provides real-time skill requirements for a progressive career.

The job roles and skills required for the industry are changing dynamically and the experiential learning system helps the students to work in a simulated environment that prepares them to be resourceful in such times. The AI and ML based system will enrich and enhance resource quality and efficiency that are essential for jobs.

Sreedevi K, director operations, CELSE, said that students largely lack domain experience and are fearful to face interviews and uncertain about how to perform real job tasks. Being a knowledgeable resource would help them become a contributor to their employer organisations and chances of earning higher salaries.

There is also a lack of right attitude and aptitude among freshers and job seekers, business communication skills, clarity about industry needs and demands and lack of right guidance. CELSE Labs aims at providing wholistic training and grooming to set the right skills for a rewarding career.

The pilot program titled ‘Certified Accounting Professional’ (CAP), gives complete accounting, compliance, and analytics job related experience while working in an office environment. CELSE Labs is a strategic solution for challenges faced by employers and resources.

The program titled Continued Legal Education Program, provides real time experience in various fields of litigation. The 60-day program for students of final year LLB and LLB graduate, is equipped with prospective resources to provide practical experience in drafting and research as well as in the area of corporate litigation and other spheres of law.

CELSE Labs equip prospective resources with domain-specific work experience, skills, and the right attitude and aptitude and connect them with employers. CELSE will create network centers, through company-owned centres at Kochi and Kozhikode and franchises across Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Qatar, and Dubai.

Students who have completed their UG/PG in Commerce or Management streams including freshers can join CAP, the experiential learning program, that helps participants gain three years of working experience in three months and professional practice experience in two months for students in Legal streams.

CAP Intensive Program is curated for working employees with relevant experience looking to upgrade knowledge and skills for career advancements.
