DP World Cochin into Welfare and Wellbeing of the Community

DP World operated International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT), recently organized an ‘Eye check-up Camp’ at the terminal for the benefit of the truckers, operators and port users. This camp was conducted bDP World Cochin Eye Checkup Initiative (4)y Ophthalmologists, technicians and nurses from Medical Trust Hospital in Kochi. The eye check-up facility was availed by numerous truck drivers and other terminal users.
Jibu Kurien Itty, CEO, DP World Cochin said “DP World Cochin aims to cultivate a dynamic and inspiring working environment for its people. This eye checkup camp is one such initiative organized for the benefit of the trade community to ensure their safety and health is well taken care of. For wellbeing of our people we involve ourselves in projects and initiatives that will raise awareness, tackle social issues or make a difference to the community.”
They also recently concluded another such initiative – ‘Monsoon health checkup’ which was organized in association with Lourdes Hospital in June 2016.
