KOCHI:
Dr. K. N Madhusoodanan, former Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and Technology, has been honored with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) award 2020.
He was awarded for the academic excellence. Dr K N Madhusoodanan was the 14th Vice Chancellor of CUSAT. He has more than 30 years of experience in teaching and research. He had served as Head, Department of Instrumentation, CUSAT, Member of Academic Council, CUSAT and as Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, M.G.University, Kottayam. He bagged a fellowship from the International Center for Theoretical Physics, Italy, and also received IEEE Elite Academician Award 2022.
He will receive the DRDO award at a function to be held on May 26 at DRDO Bhavan, Delhi.
