Dvara KGFS Digital Services, a subsidiary of Dvara Kshetriya Gramin Financial Services (Dvara KGFS), which is focused on building digital infrastructure and expanding access to financial services in rural India, announced the appointment of Ramkumar Ratnam as Chief Executive Officer. The appointment marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to extend the reach of inclusive financial services through digital innovation and to improve the financial well-being of underserved households and enterprises in rural India.
Ramkumar has been associated with Dvara for the past 12 years, contributing significantly to the organisation’s growth and mission. Most recently, as Chief Business Officer of Dvara KGFS, he played a key role in strengthening customer relationships, driving business excellence, and building resilient operations across the company’s network. With deep expertise in inclusive finance and strong strategic leadership capabilities, he takes on this role at a time when Dvara KGFS Digital Services is set to expand access to a wider range of financial services through technology and innovation, serving underserved households and micro-enterprises more effectively.
Dvara KGFS Digital Services aims to build a digital platform that will enable customers in rural India to access essential digital financial services, including the Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS), Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), and domestic money transfers, closer to home while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural entrepreneurs.
