It is located in the district of Karnataka.The name Coorg is taken from its local name called Kodagu.
There are many of spiritual places to worship like Omkareshwar,Padi Iggutappa,Bhangandeshwara,
Dargah Sharif, Honnamana Kere ,Namdroling Monastery and so on.There are a number of falls
like Iruppu, Abbi, Mallalli, and Chelavara along with the others.
Then there are numerous wildlife sanctuaries and reserves like Nagarhole, Cauvery, Pushpagiri, Brahamagiri, Talakaveri, and Dubare.
Also, there are a number peaks like Bhagamandala, Mandalpatti, Chiklihole Reservoir, and Nehru
Mantap. Along with all its scenic beauty, Coorg offers a wide variety of activities like fishing, Birding, elephant rides, trekking, hiking and so on. It is also a place for adventurous people as it opens it’s arms to all those who love to explore new ideas.
