KOCHI:
A Faculty Development Programme on ‘Building Information Modeling’ familiarizing the delegates about the latest trends in civil engineering field up to the latest version 7D is underway at CUSAT.
The most attractive part of the programme is hands-on training in the Cloud application which enables to implement the changes made in the design without delay of time during construction. The TEQIP phase-III Faculty Development Programme on ‘Building Information Modeling’ jointly organized by division of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering and THDC Institute of Hydro Power Engineering And Technology, Tehri, Utharakhand was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr K.N. Madhusoodanan. Dr George Mathew, Principal, School of Engineering presided over the meeting.
Dr K.S. Beena, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Syndicate Member, Dr K.K. Saju, Dr Sasi Gopalan (Syndicate Members), Dr Abdu Rahiman K.U, Head, Civil Engineering Division and Prof. Job Thomas, School Engineering spoke at the function.
