Federal Ashwas Award’s Given Away for Best Performing Financial Literacy Centres

KOCHI:
Federal Bank gave shape to Federal Ashwas Trust in the year 2010 to establish and run Federal Ashwas Financial Literacy Centres (FAFLC). Currently the Bank has 19 centres in Kerala and 3 centres outside Kerala, one each in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Gujarat totaling 22 centres pan India.
To motivate and recognize Federal Ashwas Financial Literacy Centres (FAFLCs), it was decided to institimage005ute internal awards for 3 best performing centres annually. The first edition of the award ceremony was held on 16th February 2017 at Federal Towers, Marine Drive, Ernakulam. The function was formally inaugurated by Shalini Warrier, Chief Operating Officer, Federal Bank Ltd.
The event was attended by Jose V Joseph, CGM & NW I Head, Federal Bank, C Joseph, AGM & LDO, FIDD, RBI, Sabu Mecheri, AGM, SLBC, Kerala, Satish C, LDM, Ernakulam along with the Trustees of Federal Ashwas Trust John Kurien, Managing Trustee, E Madhavan, Alternate Managing Trustee and Dr. K V Peter, Trustee. The Award winning FLCs were (1) Mookkannoor (2) Thodupuzha (3) Perambra and a special recognition was accorded to Chandrasekharan Nair, Chief Counsellor, Alappuzha FLC.
