Fifth Edition of UST Global ‘Goal’ Football Tournament Begins in Kochi

KOCHI:
Goal, the annual football tournament organised by the Kochi Infopark centre of digital techn ust-global-goal-inauguration-by-ekm-district-collector-2 ology services company UST Global got off to a dazzling start with District Collector K. Mohammed Y. Safirulla inaugurating the tournament at the Thrikkakkara Municipal Ground at Kakkanad. The Ladies Shootouts that are part of UST Global Goal was inaugurated by Neenu KK, the Thrikakkara Municipal Chairperson.
Goal is an intercompany sevens football tournament hosted
by UST Global for all Infopark- based companies. The tournament has a group stage with 8 groups of 4 teams each. Two teams from each group would move to the knockout stage to find the champion among the registered 40 teams. The final would be played on February 19.
