Cochin University of Science and Technology shares its proud moments when final semester B Tech exam results come out. 75 percent of those who appeared for the 2023 B.Tech final exam passed.
The results of 8 B Tech programmes in CUSAT namely Electronics and communication, Computer science, Safety and Fire Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering and Instrumentation Engineering have been announced. Computer Science and Instrumentation streams have the highest pass percentage (97 %). It is noteworthy that all the engineering departments are Tier 1 accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
CUSAT is one of the few engineering institutions from Kerala to be awarded Tier 1 accreditation by
NBA. CUSAT is also the first educational institute in Kerala to get Tier-1 accreditation.
CUSAT has created a record in campus placements as 505 final year B.Tech students secured jobs in high-profile companies this year. A hike in placement is witnessed in the number of placements this year as more core companies recruited students from CUSAT on higher pay packages compared to last year. The
highest pay of this placement season stands at Rs. 25 lakh perannum, and the average pay package is 5.88 lakh. Students from CUSAT were recruited in nearly 150 companies, including TCS, Infosys, IBM and Byjus this time. The toppers list in various B.Tech programmes.
