Hibi Eden Supports Puthuvype Strike

Hibi Eden commented that he has till date supported the common people of Puthuvype and will continue to do so forever. The candidate was visiting the Puthuvype Samara Samithi members. He added, it is the responsibility of any administration to protect the life and property of the residing public and development will be only possible by resolving the concerns of the public.

Protest against Puthuvype IOC LPG Terminal continues for the past 4 years. Father Sijo George Kurishumoottil presided the event that took place in Puthuvype St. Sebastian Church. Puthuvype LPG Terminal Virudha Janakeeya Samara Samithi Convener Ajayghosh, Murali, Vice Chairman Biju Kannaganat, Mary Antony, Samara Samithi Executive member and Maglin Phelomina addressed the gathering.

Hibi Eden Presented EnVisioning Ernakulam 2030
UDF candidate Hibi Eden presented EnVisioning Ernakulam 2030, a comprehensive vision document for Ernakulam today evening at 4.00pm in BTH Hotel. The comprehensive development plan has been developed under the guidance of Ernakulam Former District Collector and International Labour Organisation Secretary, M P Joseph.

The project was divided in to 14 point visions and an extensive discussion was conducted on the topic with distinguished people from more than 23 sectors of the district. The vision points include Industries and jobs, Integrated transportation system, Infrastructure, Women Issues, Ernakulam Knowledge hub, Environment and Waste Management, Ernakulam Media City, Tourism, Public Health and Wellness, Finance Hub, Coastal Area Development and Fisheries, Sports, Differently abled and Anti substance use.

Prof. K V Thomas, K L Mohana Varma, P K Hormis Tharakan IPS, Jose Dominic, Dr. Philip Augustine, Navas Meeran, Rev. Father Prasanth Palackapillil, Adv. Harish Vasudevan, Adv. Siby Monipally, Sherly Chacko, Beena Sebastian, Lalichan Zacharia, Jose Pradeep are the few dignitaries who actively participated in the discussion and added there valued comments which will be included in the eventual vision document.

Hibi Eden commented that, if he is given the opportunity to represent Ernakulam in the Lok Sabha such a development conclave will be continued with inclusion of more experts from all fields. The aim is to discuss development projects for Ernakulam and implement the same. He added, such an initiative should be made into a regular practice in future.
