THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
HINDLABS Diagnostic Centre & Specialty Clinic, Thiruvananthapuram, has announced a special concession on laboratory investigations for senior citizens and free ECG and Pap smear tests for eligible beneficiaries as part of its 10th anniversary initiatives.
HINDLABS is operated by the Healthcare Services Division of HLL Lifecare Limited, a Miniratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Located at the TRIDA Sopanam Building, opposite Government Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, the HINDLABS centre was established on September 7, 2016. Over the past decade, it has expanded access to a wide range of diagnostic services at affordable rates.
Under the scheme, senior citizens will receive a 20 per cent concession on laboratory investigation charges from September 9 to October 6, 2026. The concession will be available to walk-in patients using laboratory services at HINDLABS and its collection centres. It will not apply to home sample collection services, medical imaging services and other investigations.
The scheme is intended to make essential diagnostic investigations more affordable for senior citizens and encourage regular health screening and early detection of medical conditions.
HINDLABS will also extend special health screening benefits to the public, with free ECG tests for 100 eligible beneficiaries and free Pap smear tests for another 100 beneficiaries, subject to applicable terms and availability.
