IHCL Bharat EkSaath Walkathon Organised in Kochi

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, continues to advance its sustainability and social impact agenda through Paathya, its ESG+ framework. Marking the fourth year of Paathya, IHCL reinforced its commitment to responsible tourism with Bharat EkSaath Walkathon – Kochi edition.

Bharat EkSaath Walkathon is an inclusive 3 km walk bringing together associates, their families, local partners, vendors and community across 14 countries in over 200 locations. The funds raised through the walkathon support the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust (TPSWT), reinforcing IHCL’s approach to social impact.

The Bharat EkSaath Walkathon in Kochi was hosted at Vivanta Ernakulam, Marine Drive, bringing together employees from hotels across the city in support of a meaningful cause. Participating hotels included Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Cochin, Taj Cochin International Airport, Kerala, Taj Kumarakom Resort & Spa, Kerala, Vivanta Ernakulam, Marine Drive, Vivanta Kochi, Aluva, Ginger Kochi MG Road, Ginger Kalamassery, along with team members from amã Stays & Trails properties in Kochi.

The 3-km walk, set along the scenic Marine Drive stretch, commenced at 8:15 AM, following a flag-off by esteemed dignitaries including Venkatesan Dhattareyan, Regional Director, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and G. Priyanka, District Collector of Ernakulam. The walk began at Vivanta Ernakulam, proceeded up to the High Court of Kerala, and concluded back at the hotel, completing a spirited and unified route.
