IndianOil Rewards Rs.25 lacs to Padma Bhushan Pullela Gopichand

IndianOil’s ace sportsperson, Padma Bhushan Pullela Gopichand was rewarded with Rs. 25 lacs, in recognition of his stupendous feat as a Badminton Coach, in clinching a silver medal for the country in the Rio Olympics.
P. Gopichand joined IndianOil in 1993 in the officer’s cadre. Subsequently he has been promotedIndianOil awards Rs.25 lacs to Gopichand 2 upto Senior Manager level during his playing and coaching tenure. IndianOil has also awarded a promotion to him in recognition of his Rio Olympics feat. Badminton Coach P.Gopichand, is now a Chief Manager at Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State Office, Marketing Division, IndianOil.
In the recently concluded Rio Olympics, P. Gopichand’s ward,  P. V. Sindhu won a silver medal, in Women’s singles.
