Text Box: Key Points
• Children’s Day special 1-hour session free session on Robotics on November 13th at 3PM IST
• Various activities of the special session includes exciting prizes.
• Students from Class 5th to 12th can participate in the Session through a free registration at http://bit.ly/hellorobotsInker Robotics, a robotic technology based start-up has been successfully organizing “Hello Robots” session for school students across the country since July 2020 with a purpose to create awareness on Robotics among students and enable them to be FUTURE READY. Hello Robots by Inker, a first ever such FREE online session by any robotics company has created awareness among thousands of young minds across the country and stimulated their interest in Robotics, AI and Emerging Technologies during this pandemic.

It all started when Rahul P Balachandran, CEO of Inker Robotics visited a small countryside school in Kerala to meet the students and introduce basic concepts of robotics. Rahul says, “As I was sitting in that school with my team, hundreds of students surrounded us to have a glimpse of a real ROBOT. It was the first time we did a Robotic Expo in a school and can’t express the wild enthusiasm of children who had never seen a robot in their life! That experience taught me that robotics & technology is a great leveller and its impact could change lives not just in cities, but in villages. It made me understand the necessity of taking Robotics & AI learning to grassroots and how it could impact every child irrespective of cities or villages, the best Private School or a remote Government school”.

This commitment and team effort helped Inker create the BEST ROBO LAB Set Up in India. Testimony to that effort was when Inker Robotics was awarded the Best ROBO LAB SET UP in INDIA in 2019 at an event held at IIT DELHI by All India Council for Robotics and Automation (AICRA).

Experts say Robots are going to revolutionize future workplaces from space to medicine to agriculture. Robotic literacy is going to be a deciding factor across all sectors from teaching to space. So, whether a child is planning to be a doctor, engineer, scientist, teacher or an international chef, he/she needs to be Robotics & AI literate.

Inker Robotics is focused on providing the best content at affordable price to all segments of society. In tune with this philosophy, Inker has joined hands with KAMP (Knowledge Assessment & Mapping Platform), an initiative of CSIR-National Institute of Science Technology and Development Studies (NISTADS) to take Hello Robots to remotest schools across India free of cost!

It doesn’t stop with Hello Robots and Robotic Play Book, Inker is launching Robotic Quotient (RQ), an assessment to measure a child’s ability to learn, progress and succeed in a robotic environment FREE of cost to all students on the occasion of Children’s Day. All this is part of the larger vision of Rahul Balachandran and his team to reach out to students in every remote corner of India.
