Keeping Goa’s Beaches Clean

PANAJI:
In a bid to improve the cleanliness on Goa’s beaches, the current garbage collection agency Drishti Lifesaving Pvt. Ltd. alongside the tourism department rolled out a new initiative on garbage collection recently. The general public can inform Drishti Lifesaving on +91 9225580100 via a WhatsApp message about garbage strewn on the beach by sending a picture of the garbage followed by a WhatsApp text stating the location and the garbage will be cleared immediately.
Garbage is being collected from the following beaches so far:
South Goa: Baina, Bogmollo, Velsao, Hollant, Arrosim, Majorda, Utorda, Betalbatim, Colva, Benaulim, Varca, Zalor, Cavelossim, Mobor, Agonda, Pallolem, Patnem, Rajbagh, Talpona, Galgibag, Pollem
North Goa: Querim, Arambol, Ashwem, Mandrem, Morjim, Vagator, Anjuna, Baga, Calangute, Candolim, Sinquerim, Miramar, Vaiguinim, Donapaula, Siridao and Bambolim.
People are requested to send their requests via WhatsApp on +91 9225580100 and assist in keeping the beaches clean.
