KOCHI:
On inaugurating the installation ceremony of the new office bearers of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Kochi branch, Dr. Dinesh Arora, deputy chief executive officer, Ayushman Bharat Scheme, said that Kerala should implement the Ayushman Bharat Scheme of central government. He also said that a meeting will be scheduled soon with the State Health minister to discuss on the implementation of the scheme.
Dr. M.I Junaid Rahman, Dr. Haneesh Meerasa and Dr. Vinod Padmanabhan were installed respectively as the president, secretary and treasurer of the IMA Kochi 2018-19 year. Muhammad Y Safeerulla, District collector, delivered the keynote address. Dr. Varghese Cheriyan presided over the meeting. Dr. Rajeev Jayadevan got selected at the president elect. Dr. M.Venugopal, Dr.Sunny P Orathel, Dr. V.P Kuriyipe, Dr. K. Narayanankutty, Dr. S. Sachidhanantha Kammath, Dr. Arun Babu and Dr. Gracy Thomas were also there.
