Kerala Startup Network Launched

KOCHI:
In an effort to provide collective support for start-up ventures and budding entrepreneurs in the state, a group of entrepreneurs have launched an organisation named Kerala Startup Network.

The organization will be known as KSN Global. The self-help group was initiated by entrepreneurs Ajin S, Anil Balan, Bindu Sankarapillai, Dr Jayan Joseph, Sunil Haridas, Rony Roy, Manoj Balu, Binu Mathew and Manoj Gopalakrishnan during Covid lockdown as a Whatsapp collective with more than 300 members which finally took shape as an organized group. The first event of the organization was held on Saturday at the Kerala Startup Mission headquarters.

According to founders, KSN Global aims to help entrepreneurs turn innovative ideas into great ventures using modern technology and overcome challenges they face. It would provide a platform to bring out startup success stories that go unnoticed by the media and to share the knowledge and experience of entrepreneurs. Representatives from Kerala Startup Mission and NASSCOM are also part of KSN Global. Although government agencies such as the Kerala Startup Mission have made great strides in creating a better startup ecosystem, the founders said that the support of collaborative efforts such as KSN Global will benefit government projects and initiatives.
