THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
KIMSHEALTH has launched two ground-breaking initiatives on the occasion of World Emergency Medicine Day: a 24×7 Trauma Emergency number and the Trivandrum Emergency Medicine Club. These initiatives aim to enhance emergency medical services and foster collaboration among Emergency Medicine professionals in Trivandrum. Ajith V. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Law & Order and Traffic, Trivandrum City, inaugurated the function.
In his presidential address, Dr. M.I Sahadulla, Chairman and Managing Director of KIMSHEALTH, stated that the Trauma Emergency Number 0471 – 4711911 will be useful for the public to receive immediate medical attention directly from the doctors of the Emergency Medicine Department of KIMSHEALTH whenever needed. He further elaborated that KIMSHEALTH is proud to be at the forefront of advancing emergency medical services and promoting collaboration among healthcare professionals in Trivandrum. These initiatives mark a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing prompt, high-quality emergency care to the community. The Trivandrum Emergency Medicine Club will serve as a platform for Emergency Medicine doctors to exchange expertise, discuss innovative approaches, and enhance emergency medical care throughout the region, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
While delivering the inaugural address, Ajith V emphasised the importance of training the Law and Order and Motor Vehicle departments to act cautiously in case of accidents. He further added that it is necessary for police officials to ensure that accident or assault victims are given proper care and are safely transported to the hospital. The initiative of KIMSHEALTH to launch the Trauma Emergency Number is laudable, and it will be helpful for the public to utilise it whenever the need arises.
