KOCHI:
Cochin University Union is taking on the new year in the challenging times of Covid 19 pandemic injecting motivation among the newcomers. ‘Koode’, the online competitions for freshers, organised by the Union has started, with around 1000 students taking part in more than 20 competition items.
Altogether 26 teams are vying for the crown. Competitions other the stage items began on 3 rd January. The stage items scheduled for 8, 9 and 10 th January, will be formally inaugurated by Ms. Arya Rajendran, Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram, at 5 p.m. on 8 th . Results have been finalised in (1)Malayalam Short Story for which Malavika Nair(School of Management Studies), Vignesh M.J.(SMS) and Shifana Mumthas(Integrated MSc), and (2)Cartooning for which Akash E.R.(SoE), Shahana(Biotechnology) and Avani B.S.(SoE) secured first, second and third prizes respectively.
