

KOCHI:
Five teams were declared winners at the ‘Build for India’, India’s Largest Agentic AI Hackathon organised by the Kerala Startup Mission at the Digital Hub in Kalamassery. A total of 62 teams, selected from 700 applications received from 17 states across the country, participated in the hackathon.
The five winning teams (Zhacks, Lorial, Lares.AI, Caltek, and Team 420) showcased AI contact centres, verification tools, and industry monitoring systems they developed during the competition. In addition to financial support, each winning team will receive post-hackathon incubation facilities, mentorship, opportunities to interact with industry leaders, and access to funding avenues through the Startup Mission.
Around 250 participants, including AI developers, startup founders, researchers, and students, took part in the event.
The hackathon aimed to develop Agentic AI systems capable of autonomous functioning and decision-making with minimal human intervention. Participants built technological solutions in areas such as autonomous task agents, job automation systems, and productivity enhancement tools. Teams comprising two to five members competed in the event.
The hackathon, held at the Kochi Digital Hub, was inaugurated by KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika.
