Lanstitut under Kerala Startup Mission has qualified for a prestigious foreign trade cooperation program by the German Ministry of Economic Affairs, figuring among 14 such nascent companies from India.
The city-based Lanstitut became the only start-up from Kerala for ‘Partnering in Business with Germany’, earning a new achievement for the three-year-old firm that provides a virtual platform for healthcare professionals to find highly-rewarding international jobs.
Lanstitut co-founder Yasin Bin Saleem said the initiative features services ranging from language-learning to obtaining necessary certifications in their respective countries. “Estimates show 700,000 nursing job opportunities by 2030 in Germany alone. We can prepare professionals to fully utilize this potential,” he pointed out.
The program will enable Lanstitut to work with hospitals, medical education institutions, and government agencies. “Our goal is to create a sustainable model for medical migration,” Yasin added.
The program, launched by German Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, aims to improve foreign trade as well as investment. Currently, entrepreneurs from 18 countries, including India, can apply. Germany targets successful small and medium-sized enterprises. Every year, 1,800 companies become members of this program.
The benefits for the selected companies include access to the German market, commercial partnerships with local companies, expert advice on German conditions, and a strong commercial network.
Lanstitut offers end-to-end support for healthcare professionals, including language training, exam preparation, document verification, job placement with hospitals, and visa processing for migration.
