Land Rover Discovery Diesel, Starting from Rs 75.18 Lakh

Jaguar Land Rover India, today announced the launch of the 2.0 l diesel derivative of the Model Year 2019 Land Rover Discovery in India, priced from ₹ 75.18 lakh. Available in S, SE, HSE & HSE Luxury trim, the new derivative is powered by a 2.0 l high-powered diesel Ingenium engine producing a power output of 177 kW and peak torque of 500 Nm. This advanced engine is the first Jaguar Land Rover powerplant to feature series sequential turbo technology to deliver its additional thrust.

(JLRIL), said: “The Discovery’s unmatched capability and versatility has now been enhanced with the introduction of the high powered Ingenium diesel variant at an attractive price that we believe will enable the Discovery to appeal to a wider customer base.”

Embodying Land Rover’s spirit of Never Stop Discovering, the Discovery combines the flexibility of a beautifully crafted full-size seven seat interior packed full of ingenious design details with dramatic proportions, clean modern lines and a dynamic silhouette. For 2019, the Discovery 2.0 l diesel offers a rich set of features to choose from, including Electrically reclining seats, Intelligent Seat Fold, four-zone Climate Control, Powered third row seats, a panoramic sunroof, Cabin Air Ionisation, 360° Surround Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Protect and Remote.

The Discovery seamlessly incorporates technology and capability in one compelling package. With a best-in-class approach angle (34°), ramp angle (27.5°) and departure angle (30°), a water wading depth capability of 900 mm and a 3 500 kg towing capacity, the Discovery combines desirability with an unstoppable spirit of adventure.
